Abstract

Curriculum 2013 develops authentic assessment i.e. valid and significant assessment on the disciple‟s learning result in the sphere of attitude, skill and knowledge. Authentic assessment has a lot of new things and its implementation requires better teachers‟ competence than that in the curriculum 2006 (KTSP). On the other hand, in general Moral and Islam Education teachers of the target school seem to be unready to bring about the authentic assessment. Based on the reason, this research aims at evaluating and describing the implementation of authentic assessment of Moral and Islam Education in the targeted elementary school of curriculum 2013 in Banyumas Regency. This research belongs to evaluation research using qualitative approach. This research used CIPP (context, input, process, product) as the evaluation model. This research employed observation, interview, and documentation as data collection technique. The data collected are then analyzed through data reduction, data presentation and conclusion.
